Been through major, power, minor and sevenths?
To form a sixth chord, you take a major chord and add the sixth note of
the scale. The sixths sound particularly pleasant and make a nice change from majors.
Example: This is the scale of G again
The sixth note is an E and adding this to G major would give a G6. There's a full List of sixths for you to try. |
